Key Stage 4 involves the students developing their creative thinking while also using a variety or mixed media . Students are taught to gain first hand research , making projects more personal, responding to the worldaround them. Students are taught to experiment to gain a more skilled understanding of their media or topic. All students will also complete Artist research. I enjoy taking students to galleries to gain first hand experience of the the Art work, students also use books, art magazines and the internet to aid them in their research. Students then go on to develop and combine their ideas, working towards a final piece.

Their final piece should show the culmination of all their knowledge and skills that has been gained throughout the research process.
